Okay, so...

I obviously have fallen very far behind.

And I have decided that I will not be able to catch up easily.

So instead of trying to catch up from September 19th, I am going to cut out an entire month. My next update will be on October 19th.

Instead of ending April 11th (a year from when I started), I will end on May 11th.

This way I don't feel discouraged that I don't have time to catch everything up, and I can still keep posting pictures.

I enjoy this too much to give it up :)

Bokeh!!! :)

I feel like I cropped this one oddly, but after four tries this is the one I kept.

18 September 2009

I was working a lot that week, and the weeks following, to set up the new store.

It's not surprising that I took a piece of work home with me.

This is one of those cracked glass orb things you hang in your garden.

Practicing shutter speed again.

Taffy from our trip :)

RAAAAWR!!!!

I've been wanting to do a macro of a spider's face for a long time, and this guy was kinda hanging out, just waiting for me

Last day of vacation!

My boyfriend and I were playing around this river on our last hike and he challenged me to practice slow shutter speed with my camera. I love him. <3

I've never successfully done this before... I want to practice more, but I like how this one turned out! There were others where the water looked slower, but they were way too bright because of the long shutter time.

Day five.

(A doe, a deer, a female deer...

Yes. Evil does in fact come in small packages.)

This was our second day at Mt. Rainier, in the Paradise hiking area.

This is also the only picture of a deer I have ever taken :) I definitely appreciate the zoom on my new camera now!

(This post = Christmas tree shaped!)

Day four.

Keith was fishing in an all-natural glacier lake (Snow Lake) for all-natural trout.

Didn't catch any, but he enjoyed trying :)

This lake was one of my favorite places around Mt. Rainier. It's just so peaceful and so gorgeous there!

Day two of vacation.

This was taken on a beach in Seaside, down the street from our hotel. :)

This is also another filler. I am also skipping my photo for the 10th for right now, for the same reason. It's a panoramic and I need the full size version to have everything load correct.

08 September 2009

Day one of mine and Keith's vacation.

This was taken at Indian Beach, within Ecola State Park in Oregon. (Near Cannon Beach).

(This is a filler for right now. I need to upload a better quality version of this, but it's on my external hard drive.)

07 September 2009

It's way too damn early for Halloween Oreos.

06 September 2009

This one is for Keith...

He didn't know what a sea urchin skeleton/shell looked like.

05 September 2009

It's a Stash tea rainbow! :)

I <3>

03 September 2009

A REALLY BIG spider that lives outside above Keith's kitchen window.

I tried putting up a quarter to give it scale, but the quarter was on the inside of the window and it just didn't focus well lol.

The body of this thing is the size of a half dollar, no joke.

On deviantart, someone told me that this is an orb spider. They don't usually bite.

Still freaky.

02 September 2009

I told you my family has ridiculous numbers of ducks, and that you would see them when I have no other ideas, didn't I?

I also just wanted to use my fun background. :)

01 September 2009

I have an unhealthy obession with school/office supplies.

Can you tell?

Also: I'm very happy to see that I'm not the only one who isn't on top of his/her updates! :)

Updates...

Like Trevor, work is also keeping me extremely busy.

Somehow I had more time when I was going to school and working. Or I just think I did.

Tomorrow morning, Keith and I leave for a week. We're going to spend two days in Cannon Beach, OR and the rest of the time in Mt. Rainier National Park, WA.

After I get back I will finish uploading this week's pictures. Then hopefully I will come back some pretty mountain landscapes, macros of wildflowers, and pictures of Keith with fish :)
