My school. Not really the best picture, but I'm just happy that I remembered to shoot one real quick. I between when I woke up at 7:30am and when I got home at 11:30pm I had literally an hour and a half to myself.


The "W" is formed out of flowers (marigold and some sort of purple flower I don't know the name of). The rest of the plants you see there are all part of a garden that only contains plants native to Washington state. There are even strawberries there :) It is also a pesticide-free garden.

I love the composition of this shot (though I know that Darlene would tell me there is too much wasted space), but there's so much noise! I really do love my camera, but I hate the amount of noise it puts in my photos.


Anyone know of anything that could help?

This the last of my mystery theme pictures... Mandy and Trevor got the theme right after I posted the last picture! :D



I'm posting the answer, and the key to each picture, as a comment on this post.




The "mystery theme" idea didn't turn out as well as I had hoped, but I didn't want it to be guessed right away either. It's a hard theme to choose, and I found that it was really hard to photograph after I got started.

Another weimaraner from my boyfriend's house. This little girl is named Haley. They watch her on the weekends for a friend...


I tried to get a shot without the flash (I hate it and forgot to turn it off). But weim's are hyper dogs, and she's still very young, so it was impossible to get her to sit still again. She was just too excited that I was paying attention to her :)


A few days ago I also took a picture of Rem. I thought it would be cool to get both of them together so you can see the difference in their coats. If you're interested, that picture is here.

The look of this smoothie was really cool :)

This is a Summer Berry Slush smoothie. Which is basically made by throwing any sort of berry you have into the blender with some ice (or throw in frozen berries and skip the ice). It also called for orange juice, but since I'm allergic I skipped it.

One of these days I'll take a good picture of a smoothie. Today is not one of those days. Tomorrow's picture wasn't either.


This smoothie is: Kiwi, honeydew, and Sprite (for lack of sparkling water, which the recipe called for). It tasted amaaaazing! :)

I'm glad that I have this picture to celebrate! I'm really happy with how it turned out.
