More of a Photoshop technique than a photography technique.



The photos themselves weren't that great, but I'm really happy with how this turned out. I have been wanting to try this for a long time! :)

Keith and I went to Mukilteo Beach today. We took Missy with us, and then went for some amazing ice cream. :)

Missy and I went on a walk around Jennings Park today. She and I have both been really cooped up lately. No one really takes her on walks any more and all she does is lie around the house and sleep. I just needed a break from homework :)


I really like composition of this shot - the way that the stairs go down to the path, the trees, and in the distance you can see the fountain.

I have mixed feelings about this photo.

Pros:
- The placement of the objects within the frame.
- The reflection (which apparently I'm addicted to right now).
- My dog is adorable and can close doors.

Cons:
- The placement of the lighting caused the entire photo to be grainy and washed out.
- It was over processed in Photoshop in my attempts to make it look good.
- It's in black and white, when I would prefer to have this shot in color.


I really wanted to capture Missy closing a door, but with the French doors I think it's going to be hard for me to get the photo. I'm lucky that my camera caught the action on this one.

This is miss Missy. Missy Puppy. Miss Piss. Psycho. Face. Beast. Crazy dog.

Whatever name you prefer. Our family obviously doesn't stick with just one.
Missy Puppy and Psycho are my favs.
She actually answers to Psycho, I call her that so often.

We were playing with the blanket, and she got mad at me for stopping to take pictures in the middle. Apparently that's not right when it's play time.


(Fun fact: If you say "crack cocaine" around her, she gets extremely excited. I bet you're reconsidering the "Crazy Dog" name now, huh?)
