I bought myself a new little toy today. :)
At work I won a $25 gift card to my store for getting 100% on a secret shop, and decided to treat myself. I've been looking at this thing for a good six months.
It's only 5 inches tall when fully extended, but it's perfect for macro shots. Which, as I think is painfully obvious by now, are my one true photographic love. The top is on what I guess you would call a "ball and socket" hinge, so it will move in any direction I want. I'm so excited!
I'm really hoping that I get one of these with the sweep for my birthday.

Treat that thing with care. I have one, and I busted it up with all my travels. It's seen some good use though and I've had to modify it to keep it working. ;) Glorious picture btw.
I'll keep that in mind :) I'm sure mine will get a lot of use too. At least yours was busted through love, lol. And thank you!
